When she was a child, Noémie was mesmerised by the artistry and feats of the circus world.
She had dreams of flight, to become free as a bird and bring a twinkle into people’s eyes.
A few years later, she tried different circus techniques. It became obvious that this was her
life calling. With body and soul, she dedicated herself to learning more and more about the
ways of the performance arts, adding dancing and acting to the lot. The circus is now part of her.
At first, Noémie went to l’École de cirque de Verdun to get basic training. She then took private
lessons in aerial performances at l’École de cirque de Québec. That is where she chose the trapeze
which became more than a tool but rather an accomplice, a source of strength. In her performance
piece, Noémie displays and conveys sensuality, energy, high tension and vertigo.
To further her range as an artist, Noémie continues to take acting and dancing seminars. They gave
her the abilities to be chosen to portray a character part with le Cirque du Soleil.
