When she was a little girl Rosalie used to dream of being a circus performer.
She dreamed of this because of the artistry involved but also because of the
physicality, the potential for traveling and also meeting new and interesting
people. After studying contemporary dance at CEGEP Saint-Laurent she decided
to return to the source of her artistic inspiration, and her childhood dream,
the circus.
Because of her experience in dance, Rosalie arrived in the world of the circus
with a strong sense of choreography. Her dance training also brought a natural
fluidity in her acrobatic movements. Rosalie's expressive style of performance
is extremely graceful and brings a sense of fragility to her performing.
Rosalie works as part of the duo Rosann Marilee with
Anne-Marie Poirier
