Frequently Asked Questions

Getting Started

What should I bring? What should I wear?

Bring a water bottle or cup with you to stay hydrated! For safety, glass containers are not allowed on our premises. If you would like to use our shower, please bring your own soap and towel with you.

Wear comfortable work-out clothing that covers your knees and mid-drift. Leggings and long sleeves can be worn as protection from burns from the aerial equipment. **For all aerial classes, clothing must be free of buttons, snaps, and zippers. Jewelry, hair clips, and anything else that could snag on the aerial fabric are prohibited.**

I’m new, what do I need to get started? Will aerial classes be too hard for me?

You don't need anything - just join us! All skill levels and ages (check out our Teen Aerial class!) are welcome with added emphasis on complete novices.

Level 1 classes and our Intro to Aerial classes are specifically designed for those with little or no experience - they are true beginner classes.

Do you have a shower?

Yes, please bring your own soap, and a towel to dry off!

Is there an age requirement for classes?

Students must be at least 18 to participate in adult classes. However, we do have Youth Aerial classes just for kids and teens!

How much are classes?

Class price varies on length and whether you're on the ground or in the air - full pricing can be found here.

Do you have parking?

Yes! We have a large, free parking lot!

Class Policies

What happens when I miss a class due to work / travel / etc.?

We believe that the most progress is made when students attend the same class(es) regularly and work consistently with the same instructor(s). Students are encouraged to attend the same class(es) weekly for the entire session for the best experience. With the new class packs and mini-membership options begining January 1, 2020, students have the flexibility to attend another class if they miss one they regularly attend. Please be sure to update your reservations in mindbody - if a class reservation is not cancelled at least 24 hours before the class begins, the class credit will be lost.

How do I know if I meet the prerequisites?

See the prerequisites for each class here. You may also reach out to info@circuscollective.com with questions or if you're coming from out of town.

What is the current schedule?

Our current schedule can be found here. Be sure to check MindBody for class schedule changes.

Do I have to sign up for classes in advance?

We highly recommend you sign up for classes in advance! Starting January 1, 2020, classes with fewer than two participants signed up six hours before class will be cancelled.

I can't make it to a class - can I give my purchase to my friend?

Class and session purchases are non-refundable. Class credits may be transferred to someone else for a $15 fee.
